Sophomore Roman Christou scored four goals on six shots and added an assist to lead the Dos Pueblos boys lacrosse team to an 8-5 Channel League win over Thacher in a Channel League game at Scott O’Leary Stadium on Tuesday.
In a tight game, DP coach Lucas Martinez said a strong second half made the difference.
“The Chargers played well all over the field, swarming to loose balls, playing aggressive defense and great team offense,” he said.
Senior midfielder Cairo Rios dominated in faceoffs, going 11-for-16 and getting crucial possessions, said Martinez.
DP is 1-1 in league and 5-2 overall.
