On March 12, 2023, Davis S. Trevino, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away at the age of 73.

David was born on March 8, 1950 in Weslaco, Texas, then moved to Santa Barbara, where he joined the Army National Guard and married.

David was a member of the Eagles club in Santa Barbara. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. His pastimes were diamond art, fishing, watching wrestling, and hanging out with his friends.

David is predeceased by his parents Israel and Nancy Trevino; daughter Jennie Trevino; and brothers Robert, Roy, Cruz, and Noel Trevino.

David is survived by his children Belinda Trevino Lopez, Deanna Trevino Lopez (Joe), David S Trevino Jr. (Alexus) and Gilbert Trevino (Tasha).

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren Crystal Trevino, Greg Dominguez, Vincent Trevino, Laura Villegas, Joseph Salazar, Armando Trejo, Mya Lopez, Mia Lopez, Sophie Trevino and Darla Trevino; five great-grandchildren Nathalia Trevino, Isaac Trevino, Edward Jones Jr, Ayden Dominguez, and Riley Dominguez; siblings Gilda Cardenas (Ray), Gilbert Trevino, (Ramona), Sylvia Trevino, Irma Trevino, Sandra Huston, and Elidia Perrault (Rick).

Death is a challenge. It tells us not to waste time. It tells us to tell each other right now that we love each other.
