Santa Barbara’s Raglan Kear, San Marcos’ Hansen Streeter and Jack Wilson and Dos Pueblos’ Grant Hughes all were named to the All-CIF Division 2 boys volleyball team for their performances this season.
Kear totalled 205 kills for the Dons, leading the team to the Channel League title. Streeter, the Royals’ senior setter, ran a fast, diversified offense, while Wilson, an outside hitter, typically led the Royals in kills, helping them to the CIF-SS semifinals.
Hughes, the Chargers’ senior captain and setter, was an indefatigable team leader during a 26-9-1 season reaching the CIF-SS quarterfinals.
Juniors Kaumana Carreira of Tesoro and Isaiah Vogel of Division champion Upland were named the co-Players of the Year.
Upland’s Scott Robertson was honored as the Coach of the Year.
