The third concert of the Santa Maria Philharmonic’s 2023-24 season will feature works by Mozart, Stravinsky and Beethoven in a performance showcasing the orchestra’s commitment to preserving and promoting classical music in Santa Maria.

The program called In the Classical Style will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at Grace Baptist Church, 605 E. McCoy Lane. Attendees are urged to arrive early at 6:50 p.m. for a pre-concert talk to learn more about the evening’s featured composers.

Mozart’s “Overture to Marriage of Figaro,” Stravinsky’s “Pulcinella Suite,” and Beethoven’s “Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major, Op. 58” create a balanced blend of listening experiences for audiences.

The program is curated by Santa Maria Philharmonic’s Maestro Michael Nowak with guest soloist Robert Thies.
