Santa Barbara Soccer Club’s Central Coast Academy 2009 Girls squad punched their ticket to the DPL National Semifinals with strong performances this week.

Earlier in the week, SBSC picked up a 4-0 victory over Inter Atlanta FC to start the tournament on a high note.

Then, they battled back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to take down the Rhode Island Surf by a score of 2-1.

In the quarterfinals on Saturday, SBSC fought their way to a 1-0 win over Northern California’s Association FC.

They will now take on the Florida Hawks on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the U15 Nationals Semifinals. The game will be live-streamed on Central Coast Academy’s Instagram.

The team consists of Precious Adjei, Meleeya Alaniz, Lulu Aurell, Alma Basave, Hazel Burgess, Sarah Daniels, Kailani Ladera, Jasmine Lind, Jaslene Perez, Aiyana Polkow, Jennifer Polunets, Hannah Ricci, Madeleine Savellano, Cami Sparks, Sofia Turenchalk, Ella Valdez Lindgren, Maleka Wilcox and Briella Castro. 

The team is coached by Billy Gallagher and John Lambe.
