Five people were injured — two critically — in a vehicle crash on Highway 154 at Foxen Canyon Road in the Santa Ynez Valley on Monday.
The California Highway Patrol reported the collision between two trucks, one hauling a cattle trailer, at 10:52 a.m. near Los Olivos.
Two people in the truck hauling the cattle trailer had minor injuries, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Three people in the other pick-up truck involved in the crash were injured and transported to the hospital.

Two of them had major injuries and were airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, according to County Fire.
The third person had moderate injuries and was transported to Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital by ambulance.
That truck had “heavy impact on side doors,” according to County Fire.
The CHP will investigate the cause of the collision.
