Fire damaged the attic and a bedroom at a home in Goleta on Saturday.
Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the incident on the 6200 block of Avenida Gorrion at approximately 5:40 p.m., county fire Capt. Mike Gray said.

As they arrived, firefighters reported seeing light smoke rising from the single-story residence.
Crews knocked down the flames by 6:10 p.m., but remained at the scene to conduct mop-up chores.
In addition to damaging the attic, the fire caused moderate damage to a bedroom, Gray said.
No one was injured in the incident.
Occupants who were inside the home escaped, but a cat initially was reported missing.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
