Every year, BGCMCC offers the National Fine Arts Program at all of its club sites on the Central Coast. As part of the art exploration program, members have their art judged and displayed for the public just like professional artists.

Community leaders will judge the art during the day on Dec. 13, and a grand opening and reception will be held that day at 5:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for multiple age levels and for art in a variety of media.

Club members who participated in the program learned about and created artworks in the following categories: monochromatic drawing, multicolored drawing, pastel, watercolor, oil or acrylic, printmaking, mixed media, and collage.

Members were even given the opportunity to create a group art project to submit for judging. The community is invited to attend the opening and reception.

The exhibit space is on the second floor of the Town Center Mall across from the Macy’s entrance.
