Santa Barbara County firefighters responded Friday night to a mobile home fire in Buellton.

The blaze was reported shortly before 9:30 p.m. at Rancho Club Mobile Estates at 330 W. Highway 246.

The home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, and they were able to knock down the flames shortly after 10 p.m., fire officials said.

The residents was not home at the time, they added, and a search of the structure revealed that no one was inside.

No other structures were reported affected by the fire.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the blaze was under investigation.
