Carpinteria High girls water polo clinched the Citrus Coast League championship with a 15-1 win over Hueneme on Tuesday in Carpinteria.

The Warriors finished off an 8-0 league record with the victory and celebrated the senior class of Allison Banks, Caden Lemere, Kimberli Ocampo and Giulia Piccoletti.

“All four seniors participated every school year, we will dearly miss their leadership, dedication and competitiveness,” Carpinteria High head coach Jon Otsuki said.

Piccoletti and Holliday Smith led the Warrior offensive attack with three goals apiece while Madison Lee, Lucia Smith and Hazel Dugre all scored twice.

Mina Handall, Lucy Moore and Banks rounded out the Carpinteria scoring. In the cage, goalie Gwen Postma ended with four blocks and two assists.

The Warriors (19-7, 8-0 CCL) will now await their CIF-SS playoff division and first-round matchup, which will be released on Friday.
