“To honor ‘A Day Without Immigrants,’ all Los Agaves Group restaurants are closed today to support our employees participating in the protest, and to demonstrate solidarity from the entire Los Agaves team,” the company said on social media. “Thank you. We will be open again tomorrow as usual in all locations.”
All three local Los Arroyos restaurants also participated in the protest.
“All 3 locations will be closed today (MONDAY, FEB 3) due to our staff participating in “A Day Without an Immigrant,” the company said on Instagram. “Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”

“A Day Without Immigrants” is intended to spotlight the important role immigrants play in the U.S. economy while protesting recent Trump policies on immigration.
Trump has issued executive orders that includes seeking to end birthright citizenship and other directives.
“Another that mandates the detention of unauthorized immigrants accused (not necessarily convicted) of crimes such as burglary, theft, larceny, shoplifting, or assaulting law enforcement officers under the Laken Riley Act,” according to MSN. “This allows for detention and potential deportation based solely on an accusation, not a conviction.”
