Indivisible Santa Barbara will host an Emergency Town Hall gathering, 1-3 p..m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara, 535 Santa Barbara St.

“The purpose of the meeting is to ‘Stop The Coup,’ featuring elected local and state officials along with activist group leaders who will provide several actions you can take now to save our democracy,” said Indivisible Santa Barbara, a grassroots organization of people living in and around Santa Barbara.

The Town Hall will be broadcast on Zoom and/or YouTube. Check the Indivisible Santa Barbara website for broadcast details.

Indivisible Santa Barbara’s priorities include “advancing national democratic reforms, improving health care access, addressing global climate change, opposing racial injustice, promoting socio-economic equality, protecting the environment, supporting immigration reform and rebuilding deteriorating infrastructure.”
