Cate boys and girls swim earned meet victories over Bishop Diego, Dunn and Laguna Blanca in a quad meet on Thursday afternoon.
Emi Kanda-Gleeson made Rams program history on the girls side, finishing the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:20.70, the fastest all-time mark for Cate.
She also won the 100 breaststroke at 1:15.46, the second-fastest time in school history.
Meanwhile, Cate’s Stella Rogers also came away with a pair of victories in the 50 and 100 freestyle. Jen Won and Maddie Kollock rounded out the individual winners in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke, respectively.
The 200 medley relay squad of Tori Kim, Sofia Wang, Maria Salyards and Tallulah Bates came out on top. In the 400 freestyle relay, Won, Rogers, Kollock and Kanda Gleeson capped off the Cate winners.
As for the boys, Wil Rivera (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle) and Joba Samson (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle) were the Rams’ double winners.
Cate’s other individual first-place finishers were Mo Kanda-Gleeson (200 IM), Josiah Hansen (100 butterfly), Ashwin Patel (100 backstroke) and Tristan Maigret (100 breaststroke).
The Rams also took home both freestyle relays as Baye Breene, Seb Brine, Elliot Paige and Rivera won the 200 freestyle relay and Samson, Rivera, Kanda-Gleeson and Jae Wykoff captured the 400 freestyle relay.
Cate will return to action in late March following Spring Break.
