The Lompoc landfill is not accepting used oil and car filters. Until further notice, residents are advised to bring used oil and car filters to a Used Oil Certified Collection Center.

Sites for Used Oil Certified Collection Centers are:

• O’Reilly Auto Parts, 511 W. Central Ave.
• AutoZone, 538 N. H St.

Appointments to drop off used oil and car filters may also be made by calling the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 805-875-8017.
