The Santa Maria Elks Rodeo Office will be accepting entries for the Elks Team Roping Event, Monday, March 17 through Friday, April 25. The team roping event will take place during the Annual Santa Maria Elks Rodeo, Thursday, May 29-Sunday, June 1 at the Elks Event Center.

Entry forms will be available online at elksrec.com. Entrants should download and fill out the form and return with the entry fee to the rodeo office, 2325 Skyway Drive, Ste. H, Santa Maria; email entries to elksrodeo@elksrec.com and office staff will contact you for credit card payment.

Entrants will be required to show proof of a valid Elks membership card. All entrants must be a member of one of the West Central Coast Elks lodges and current on membership dues. Both team members must sign a release of liability.

The entry fee is $200 per team. Entries are limited to two Elks members, or a member with their wife, child or grandchild, age 21 or younger.

Any Elk Heeler, 55 or older, can tie on. PRCA and Elks Team Ropers may only compete in one of the team roping events – not both, unless they hold a PRCA Gold Card. All entries must be completed and entry fees paid by the registration deadline, 5 p.m. Friday, April 25.

Entrants will compete for $1,500 added purse money and awards.
