U.S. News & World Report is recognizing Foothill Surgery Center, 4151 Foothill Road, Santa Barbara in its 2025 Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers report, Sansum Clinic, now part of Sutter Health, has announced.

The ambulatory surgery center (ASC) was ranked for the second year in a row as “high performing” for its ophthalmology services, the highest rating that places the ASC in the top 16% of all evaluated centers.

The ratings offer a data-informed resource for consumers seeking outpatient surgical care, Sansum said.

Foothill Surgery Center is the largest, state-of-the art outpatient surgery center in the Santa Barbara area, caring for some 600 patients monthly. It has seven operating rooms.
