Alma I. Guffey, a devoted mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on March 3, 2025, in Santa Maria.

Born March 18, 1938 in Nogales Arizona, Alma was the eldest of three children, a role she embraced with a deep sense of responsibility, care and unwavering love.

Alma’s kindness and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was a woman of profound faith, a source of strength and warmth for her family, and a guiding light to those fortunate enough to be in her life.

Her love was boundless, her devotion unmatched, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her daughters Laura (Guffey) Risse and her husband Kevin; Clarissa (Guffey) Nagy and her husband Jonathan; her cherished granddaughter Gabriella Nagy; and her loving brother Abel Morales.

Though she is no longer with us, her memory will forever be a source of comfort and love. May she rest in eternal peace.
