The Santa Barbara Fair & Expo returns to Earl Warren Showgrounds for two weekends of entertainment, and carnival thrills, April 24-27 and May 2-4.

This year’s ’80s Flashback theme is designed to transport fairgoers back in time with nostalgic experiences, alongside popular fair traditions.

“The Santa Barbara Fair & Expo is more than just rides and entertainment, it’s a place where our community comes together to celebrate tradition, joy, and shared experiences,” fair organizers said. “There’s something magical about seeing families, friends, and neighbors connect over timeless fair fun.”

Fair & Expo Highlights:

• Carnival Midway Rides & Games – More than 30 carnival rides that twist, twirl, and spin, plus carnival games for all ages. 

• Live Entertainment & Music – Performances from live bands, magic shows, and more at the Arcade Mania and Totally Gnarly Stages.

• Fair Food & Sweet Treats – On offer is everything from deep-fried delights to sweet fair classics.

• Farm Animals & Agricultural Exhibits – Get up close with cute animals, and learn about local farming traditions.

• Community Exhibits & Local Art – Celebrate the talent of local artists and creators through photography, crafts, and exhibits.

• Senior Days – Seniors 65+ enjoy free entry, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., April 26 and May 3.

• Free Off-Site Parking & Trolley Rides – Free off-site parking available at La Cumbre Junior High, 2255 Modoc Road; and Bishop Diego High School, 4000 La Colina Road. The free trolley picks up and drops off every half hour on the hour, starting 30 minutes prior to fair opening and ending 30 minutes after closing.  

Discounted presale tickets and unlimited ride wristbands are available April 1-23.

New this year, fair-goers can upgrade their experience with a Fast Pass add-on, available onsite only with the purchase of an unlimited ride wristband.

Fast Passes allow guests to skip the regular ride lines and are offered in limited quantities each day. Fast Pass pricing is $10 on Thursday, April 24; $15 on all other days, while supplies last.

  • Saturday, April 26, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 27, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

  • Saturday, May 3, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 4, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
