Santa Barbara City College Men’s Lacrosse wrapped up a dominant regular season last weekend and is now turning its attention to the postseason.
The Vaqueros, who are ranked No. 1 in the nation for Div. 3 of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association, went a perfect 7-0 in the regular season to set up a home game to begin the playoff run.
SBCC will take on Claremont College on Saturday in the MCLA Southwestern Lacrosse Conference Division 3 Semifinals at 1 p.m. at La Playa Stadium.
La Playa Stadium will also be the home to the MCLA SLC Division Championships for all levels of competition from April 25-27th.
In the regular season, SBCC picked up wins over UC Irvine, Chico State, Fullerton, Biola University, Moorpark College and Claremont College.
After losing their head coach before last season, the Vaqueros have rallied around head coach Dylan Kitao and now find themselves in a strong position heading into the postseason.
