Santa Barbara, CA— May 5, 2025 — The Santa Barbara Tennis Patrons hosted the Santa
Barbara City Junior Championships (a USTA-sanctioned event) this past weekend at the Las
Positas Tennis Center and the Santa Barbara High School tennis courts.
79 junior players from across the state of California, including 23 local players, participated. Local players who were finalists of their respective age groups included:
- Natalie Chan & Tate Jaeger (girls 16 & under doubles champions)
- Ciaran & Desmond Tober-Bridges (boys 14 & under doubles champions)
- Andrew Jayich (boys 16 & under singles runner-up)
- Reese Aldrich (girls 12 & under singles runner-up)
- Keren Monroy (girls 14 & under singles runner-up)
The Tennis Patrons will be hosting the 88th Annual Santa Barbara Open which will take place on the weekends of June 14 – 15 and June 21 – 22. This tournament will include total prize money of $10,000.
