More than 200 guests gathered recently at the Rosewood Miramar Beach for Fête à la Riviera, a spring celebration that raised more than $340,000 for The Riviera Ridge School.

The monetary gifts support the school’s mission to nurture compassionate, engaged, and curious learners, Riviera Ridge School said.

Hosted by gala co-chairs Caterina Lee and Victoria Strong, the evening’s entertainment included a live French duo playing softly in the background as guests and table sponsors mingled.

For additional entertainment, a solo harpist greeted the crowd with warm, French cafe tunes, the school said.

Attendees included Riviera Ridge School Board Chair Daniel Emmett, as well as Henri Bristol, Angie and Christian McGrath, Mary and Lucy Firestone, Belle Hahn and Lily Hahn Shining.

Emcee Andrew Firestone kept the evening’s energy high as he led live auction bidding featuring exclusive escapes, including a 40-person weekend at Zaca Lake, which ignited fierce bidding and ultimately was claimed with a top bid of $18,000.

Other highlights included VIP tickets to the Landman Season 2 premiere, and school experiences.

The chance to be head of school for a day inspired much interest, and ended the year with three winners, raising $27,500.

“This night was about more than celebration,” said Katrina Sprague, director of development and community engagement.

“It was a powerful reminder of what our school stands for — compassion, excellence, and connection,” Sprague said.
