In addition to the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) performances, there will be Fiesta-themed carnival (with free admission) featuring rides, food and entertainment on all three three days.

Rodeo showtimes are:

7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1

7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2

1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3

Arena action will feature PRCA events such as bull riding, barrel racing, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, and saddle-bronc riding.

Fan favorite, mutton busting will offer aspiring young cowboys and cowgirls the chance to ride the sheep during each of the three shows. Local kids can sign up to be part of this action-packed experience.

“We’re excited to bring a professional rodeo back to the showgrounds and continue the proud history of celebrating our community’s Western heritage,” said Ben Sprague, CEO of Earl Warren Showgrounds. “This year marks a special moment for us, as we take the reins of rodeo.

“We are honored to carry forward the equestrian and vaquero traditions that have long defined California’s cowboy culture, and we look forward to sharing this iconic experience with the community.”
