The Goleta Sanitary District is looking for a community-minded individual to fill the seat of a recently retired board member from Area 2 to complete the term that expires in November 2026.
Education regarding special district laws, governance, board member responsibilities, budgeting, and the wastewater treatment processes will be provided. Previous board experience is a plus.
Board members are compensated and are encouraged to share their experience and enthusiasm.
The mission of Goleta Sanitary District is to protect the public health and environment by responsible wastewater collection, treatment and resource recovery to meet present and future community needs.
