Dos Pueblos boys water polo rode its offensive attack to a 2-0 performance on the first day of the Don Lugo Tournament on Friday.

The Chargers kicked off the weekend with a 17-7 win over Canyon Crest before taking down Woodbridge by a score of 20-8.

In the victory over Canyon Crest, Ben Fuhrer scored five goals on five shots to go along with two assists and two steals.

Meanwhile, Grant Nelson and Lucas Neushul each scored four times in the win. Channing Wigo tallied two goals and five exclusions, while Koa Zertuche collected 16 saves.

The freshmen left the way in the victory over Woodbridge, as Wigo netted a career-high seven goals and both Max Gelman and Sky Carroll found the back of the net.

Kevin Yan chipped in two goals, and Ty Abel led the team in field blocks and ejections earned. Koa Zertuche ended the game with nine saves.
