As part of Santa Barbara High School’s 150th anniversary celebration, Chaucer’s Books will host Dons’ alumna and author Becky Shawver in a reading of her book “Best Romance Scam Victim Ever,” 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 at Chaucer’s, 3321 State St., Santa Barbara.
