Carpinteria High cross country turned in a solid showing in the second Citrus Coast League cluster meet of the season on Tuesday at Santa Paula Creek Sports Park.
The Warrior girls finished the day in third place, while the boys came in fourth place in the meet worth 25% of the league title.
Jaqueline Guadian turned in a stellar performance, crossing the finish line in 19:22 to secure a second-place finish individually.
She was followed by teammates Mila Martinez (21:04, 9th), Penelope Rowe (21:34, 12th), Kenzi Gardner (23:01, 20th), Victoria Martinez (23:42, 25th), Giarys Gomez (24:24, 27th) and Lisa Stineman (24:34, 30th).
On the boys side, Max Soto was once again at the front of the pack with his eighth-place showing at a time of 16:19.
The rest of the Carpinteria racers were Edwin Hernandez (17:10, 15th), Aaron Ortega (17:19, 18th), Jaiden Ambriz (18:17, 26th), Christian Dominguez (18:21, 27th), Gil Gomez (18:28, 28th) and Ronny Rosales-Bui (19:27, 36th).
The Warriors will be back in action for the Dos Pueblos Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 11.
