Dust off your boots and get ready for country line dance nights on State Street, hosted by the Downtown Santa Barbara Improvement Association (DSBIA).

The free Kickin’ Country Line Dancing Nights will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays in October. Gather in front of Best BBQ, 716 State St., for an evening of free country line dancing fun.

“Whether you’re a seasoned pro or have two left feet, everyone is welcome,” DSBIA said.

Instructor Christy Grant will lead beginner-friendly lessons, 6-7 p.m., followed by open dancing, 7-8 p.m.

The event dates are Oct. 8,15, 22 and 29.
