Grown-ups are invited to have some Halloween fun by exploring the spooky side of National Chemistry Week, 5:30-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation.
Adult participants (event is for age 21+) can make dry ice crystal balls, color-changing concoctions, and bubbling brews. Also, check out captivating chemistry demos and activities led by guest chemists from Los Padres Section of the American Chemical Society.
All three floors of MOXI exhibits and rooftop Sky Garden will be available to attendees. Halloween costumes are encouraged, but please leave weapons and props at home, the museum said.
