A shooting Saturday night in southwest Santa Maria left a man with multiple wounds and police seeking information about the incident.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers from the Santa Maria Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Noroeste Avenue, between Sonya and Carmen lanes, for a report of a shooting, Lt. Todd Logan said.
Officers located a 21-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, but the injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening, Logan added.
The man was the only victim police located after the shooting, which remained under investigation.
There is no known threat to the public at this time, Logan added.
