The Carpinteria High surf team picked up its third straight victory with a 55-27 win over Pacifica Christian last Saturday at Ventura Point.
With the win, the Warriors and the Santa Barbara High Dons are the only remaining undefeated teams with a Scholastic Surf Series regional title on the line.
Izzy Scott and Charlotte Cooney each had strong days to lead the Carpinteria team. Scott placed first in the girls shortboard and third in the girls longboard, while Cooney came in first in the girls longboard and second in the girls shortboard.
On the boys side, Noah Morente finished atop the podium in the boys longboard. Meanwhile, Wyatt Pitterle and Luke Anderson came in second and fourth place, respectively, in the boys shortboard.
John Morrison rounded out the Warrior standouts with a fourth-place showing in the co-ed bodyboard.
Carpinteria High will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 10 at Carpinteria State Beach.
