San Marcos water polo’s Charlotte Raisin and Dos Pueblos basketball’s Evan Pinsker led their teams to big victories last week en route to Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Athlete of the Week honors.

The pairing was honored at Monday’s SBART Press Luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Cafe.
Raisin was active on both ends of the pool for the Royals at the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions last weekend, where her team went 3-1 and placed fifth against some of the top teams in the nation.
The USC-bound senior led all players in the tournament with 17 goals, while also recording 12 earned exclusions to showcase her dominance.
Meanwhile, Pinsker drilled seven three-pointers and poured in 26 points to lead the Chargers to a signature win over their crosstown rival San Marcos. It was the first Dos Pueblos win over the Royals since 2017.
He continued to pace the Charger scoring attack with 21 points and 19 points in losses to Pacifica and Mater Dei, respectively.
The girls honorable mentions were Reagan Mack (DP Water Polo), Kindah Ahmad-Reda (DP Basketball), Carly Letendre (DP Basketball), Jada Ahmad (SM Basketball), Jaymi Coronado (Bishop Basketball) and Jocelyn Simmons (DP Soccer).
The boys honorable mentions were Aidan Conlan (SM Basketball), Wyatt Gardiner (DP Basketball), Lucas Blessing (SB Wrestling), Isaac Urrutia (SM Soccer), Johnny Duffy (DP Soccer) and Ricardo Diaz-Rea (Bishop Soccer).
The Athlete of the Week award winners are selected by the local sports media. Coaches are encouraged to nominate deserving athletes. Nominations should be sent to sports@noozhawk.com by Saturday afternoon, if possible.
