Santa Barbara High honored its senior class of Ramirez-Navas, Dorado, Luis Orta-Torres and Adrian Perez in a pregame ceremony.

“Tripp really impressed me tonight,” San Marcos head coach Jesus Romero said. “Ventura being #1 in Channel League did not faze him, and he showed the crowd tonight that the Royals were here to fight.”
The Royals also got an 11-0 major decision win from Anthony Leal at 152 pounds, and 217-pounder Yuren Vazquez earned his first varsity win of the season with an 11-0 major decision.
