Two people sustained minor to moderate injuries Saturday afternoon in a crash involving two motorcycles on Cat Canyon Road in Los Alamos, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

Firefighters and other emergency personnel responded to the scene near Bell Road just before 3:20 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Four people and both motorcycles were found down in the roadway, according to emergency radio traffic. 

Two people were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Their names and details on their conditions were not available.

Cause of the crash was under investigation by the CHP/
