San Marcos girls beach volleyball picked up a 4-1 non-league win over Santa Ynez High on Friday in Santa Ynez.

“[Paskin and Stapf’s] communication and steady play were keys for them,” San Marcos head coach Tim Loomer said.

“The two clicked from the outset and were next to unstoppable on the sand,” Loomer said of his No. 3 pairing.

At court four, Jordan Schmoller and Isla McClintock battled to a three-set victory, 21-14, 21-23, 15-10.

“Kelsey squared played a very consistent match, displaying good ball control and some solid offense,” Loomer said.
