Cabrillo High senior Andrew Wallace earned a trip to the CIF Masters Wrestling Meet this weekend for the third time in his illustrious high school career.
Wallace will compete in the 138-pound division against some of the best wrestlers in the state this weekend in Fresno at Selland Arena.
The senior punched his ticket to the Masters Meet with a third-place showing in the CIF-CS Div. 4 tournament, where he went 5-1 with his lone loss coming by a single point in the third period.
The last time Wallace competed in the Masters Meet, he came up just short of advancing to the State tournament with a double-overtime loss. He will look to avenge that loss this weekend.
