San Marcos boys volleyball rolled to a non-league sweep of Oak Park on Tuesday inside the Thunderhut, 25-19, 25-15, 25-20.
Matteo Burdick collected 17 kills to lead the Royals’ offense, while Koji Hefner tallied nine kills from the middle and Owen Willer ended with seven from the outside. Owen Heath also had three stuff blocks.
The Royals (5-2) will host Oxnard High on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. inside the Thunderhut.
Laguna Blanca 3, Del Sol 0
The Rams earned a sweep of their own against Del Sol on Tuesday, 25-15, 25-16, 25-10.
“We did a good job spreading the ball around tonight and getting lots of swings for some of our less experienced guys,” Laguna Blanca coach Tanner Stevens said.
Michael Couvillion recorded five kills and six digs, while Henry Risely served up four aces and Luke Rice had a strong night in the middle.
The Owls will head across town to take on Bishop Diego on Thursday at 6 p.m. inside the Brick House.
