Olive Crest will host its upcoming community fundraiser, Hope Shines, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 26 at Sunstone Winery, 125 N. Refugio Road, Santa Ynez.
The event will support Olive Crest’s Hope Refuge Campus, a program dedicated to serving local girls who have been victims of sex trafficking.
Hope Shines will bring community members together to learn more about the work being done to protect and restore vulnerable young people.
Featured guest speaker will be Shantel Ortiz-Cesario, a local survivor, leader, and advocate who will share her story.
“Her perspective offers meaningful insight into the realities of trafficking and highlights why the work being done at Hope Refuge Campus is so vital in the local community,” organizers said.
Attendees will enjoy lunch, desserts and beverages while hearing about the impact of the program and the need for community support.
The gathering is designed to raise awareness and funding for the specialized care, safety, and healing services provided to youth at Hope Refuge Campus.
