Community members are invited to join the Santa Barbara Transgender Advocacy Network in celebrating Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV), Saturday, March 28 at the Unitarian Society 1535 Santa Barbara St., Santa Barbara.

The day will be dedicated to honoring the resilience, creativity and strength of transgender and gender-nonconforming people in the community and around the world, organizers said.

The event will feature art exhibits, live entertainment, community resource tables, and opportunities to connect with local advocacy organizations. The goal is to celebrate visibility, foster understanding, and build solidarity.

In a call to the community for support, event organizers are currently accepting:

Art submissions from trans and gender-diverse creators
Entertainers and performers eager to share their talents
Volunteers to help with setup, outreach, and event coordination
Supplies and monetary donations to keep this event accessible and free to the public.
