Providence boys volleyball earned its second straight sweep with a victory over Midland on Wednesday in Valinor Gym in Santa Barbara, 25-7, 25-11, 25-16.
“We really appreciate Midland coming out on short notice and really enjoyed playing them,” Providence head coach Dan Terry said. “It was a good opportunity to get some newer players some much-needed reps.
“I was especially proud of our freshman outside Isaiah Meadth, who closed out game three with a six-point service run with four aces.
Cor Patterson led the Patriots with six kills, while every player had at least two kills and the team totaled 21 aces.
Providence will host Laguna Blanca for another non-league matchup next Tuesday.
