From March 13-17, Woods Humane Society will celebrate “St. PETrick’s Day,” reducing adoption fees for all animals, including dogs, cats, puppies and kittens, to $70 (plus license fees for adult dogs).
“With so many deserving dogs and cats looking homes, we hope that this adoption event will help bring awareness and ‘lucky’ matches for the animals at Woods Humane Society,” said Woods CEO Emily L’Heureux.
“This time of year also marks the start of baby season on the Central Coast. Adoptions will help us make room in the shelter as we prepare for the incoming puppies and kittens,” she said.
The St. PETrick’s Day promotion begins Friday, March 13, and runs through Tuesday, March 17. All adoptable animals have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, licensed, and treated for parasites.
Adoptions include a voluntary 30 days of pet insurance and a free wellness exam at a local vet clinic.
Woods Humane Society locations are at 875 Oklahoma Ave., San Luis Obispo, and 2300 Ramona Road, Atascadero, and is open to the public daily noon-5 p.m., with adoption hours from noon-4 p.m.
