Firefighters quickly doused a balcony fire at a home on the 500 block of Paso Robles Drive in Montecito on Tuesday, according to the Montecito Fire Protection District.

Emergency personnel responded to that area shortly before 10 a.m. for a report of a fire at the two-story home.

They found flames on the second-floor balcony and knocked them down within 10 minutes of arrival, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported, and the inside of the home was not damaged.

The Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District, Santa Barbara City Fire Department, AMR and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
