A fatal collision was reported on Highway 166 east of Santa Maria early Wednesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said all lanes of the highway were blocked due to the collision, which was reported at 6:10 a.m. near Chimney Canyon Road and Tepusquet Road.
Both lanes reopened to traffic as of 10:30 a.m. after responders cleared the roadway.
Highway 166 connects Santa Maria to New Cuyama and Kern County.
No additional information was immediately available about the fatal collision.
