Carpinteria High boys tennis went on the road and came away with a 14-4 win over a shorthanded Nordhoff squad on Wednesday.
“Overall, we were fortunate that we were gifted many sets due to the Rangers’ incomplete squad,” Carpinteria High head coach Charles Bryant said. “But I saw very good play by our doubles teams and some good singles bounceback tennis after losing to the Rangers’ top player.”
In singles action, Tiago El-Aidi, Kamran Dadvar and Edwin Hernandez all went 1-1 for the Warriors.
Meanwhile, the pairings of Servando Campuzano/Ethan Almgren and John Morrison/Alex Hansen each won their lone matches of the day.
Carpinteria High (6-2, 3-1 Citrus Coast League) will be on the road against Channel Islands on Thursday.
