Donna Blevins (Sudduth), a lifelong resident of Santa Barbara, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born in Santa Barbara on Feb. 18, 1945, Donna was a proud alumna of Santa Barbara High School, class of ’62, and a spirited member of the Santa Barbara Drill Team, The Barbarettes, and lived by the motto “Once a Don, always a Don.”

Donna’s outgoing personality and zest for life led her to explore many cultures and destinations.

Her dedication to her family was unmatched; she was a constant presence at her children’s events, cheering them on and supporting them through all of life’s ups and downs.

Donna was married to Larry Blevins for 49 wonderful years, until his passing just days before their 50th anniversary. Her career was spent in service to others through her roles at Northern Trust Bank and Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, where she made lasting contributions and formed lifelong friendships.

Donna’s passion for cruising with her husband Larry allowed them to create countless cherished memories. Additionally, she enjoyed traveling in the RV with her family, listening to doo wop music, and was a committed blood donor for many years.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Larry Blevins; daughter Mariann Steinmann; and sister Barbara Baine.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her son Jeffrey Woolever; daughter-in-law, Jody Steinmann; grandchildren Christopher Popp, Jeremiah Steinmann, and Kaylie Woolever; granddaughter-in-law Stacy Popp; and great-granddaughter Sophia Popp.

A memorial service was held to honor Donna’s life on Tuesday, March 24 at Goleta Cemetery in Santa Barbara. Her gentle spirit, kindness, and dedication to her loved ones will be remembered with fondness and respect.
