Humanity is taking a gradual turn for the better with current events in Iran.

The Iranian people are enthusiastically in support of the potential demise of the theocracy that has unjustly ruled their country for nearly half a century.

Some news outlets refer to the attack as “crushing the head of the snake.” That phrase loosely deals with a biblical concept regarding the prophesied end of Satan’s devious dealings on this planet.

To get a proper perspective of this phrase, you may want to join me and go back to Genesis 3. That early chapter presents the serpent and his deceiving Eve in the Garden of Eden and the consequences of the subsequent disobedience of Adam and Eve.

God, in no uncertain terms, confronts Lucifer about his hatred for humankind and lets him know that His Son will one day crush his head.

Through the centuries, many have been considered to be an antichrist. The ayatollah was obviously one of many antichrists, but not the one presented in Genesis 3.

The Antichrist will be judged by Christ in the Last Days. He will be completely crushed by the Son of God.

In the meantime, there will more than likely be others (human beings) who are inherently evil and are used by the Evil One to wreak havoc on this planet.

Many have spent their energies attempting to discern when this world will come to its eventual end and who the Antichrist will be.

Their predictions have all been found foolish and of no value to those who have fallen for their false predictions. All they accomplished was the selling of the books for their personal profit.

What we need to realize is the Reality of it all. Search the Scriptures and let God search your heart.

And, yes, Satan will eventually end up in the Lake of Fire. Sadly, those who foolishly follow him to the end will also be destroyed.

Unfortunately, many will not believe the Apostle John’s vision found in the Book of Revelation and not place their trust in Christ.

On that eventful day, Satan will be accompanied by a third of the angels who were cast down to earth before the creation of Adam and Eve.

They have been caught up in an ongoing spiritual battle since their demotion to Earth. You see, they decided to follow Lucifer rather than remain faithful to their Creator — the One True Living God!

Now some of you reading this will consider it silly. That’s your prerogative, but I hope you will heed this warning found in Scripture.

The Bible is not a fictional story. It is His Story — God’s story from the Creation to the end of this planet as we know it. If you doubt …
