Santa Barbara High boys lacrosse picked up a 12-8 non-league victory over El Dorado High on Saturday in Placentia.
The Dons jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, but El Dorado fought back to take a 4-3 advantage by the end of the first quarter.
Santa Barbara High surged from behind in the second quarter, riding a first-half hat trick by Flynn Chenoweth on its way to an 8-6 halftime lead.
Chenoweth added another goal in the second half, while Vonn Forrest scored three more to bring his total to four and help his team pull away for the 12-8 win.
While Chenoweth and Forrest led the scoring attack, Mason Bosma and Connor Jackson tallied eight ground balls apiece.
Santa Barbara High (8-1) will be back in action on Tuesday, April 7 at Cate.
