Two cars were towed from the scene of a partial head-on traffic collision in Goleta Wednesday morning.

Minor injuries were reported in the accident, which occurred at the intersection of Hollister Avenue and Los Carneros Road, according to Santa Barbara County Fire Department Capt. Mike Gray.

Emergency personnel first responded to the area around 9:53 a.m.

The collision caused heavy traffic to back up along Los Carneros Road toward UC Santa Barbara.
