Kurt Payne, teacher on special assignment for SMBSD visual and performing arts, encourages the community to enjoy the student artwork.

“We invite the community to visit the library and join us in Expanding Perspectives through the eyes of our Santa Maria-Bonita School District junior high students,” Payne said. “This year’s exhibit challenges us to see the world through fresh, imaginative lenses.

“It is a wonderful opportunity to support our young artists, and since the show runs through Mother’s Day weekend, it makes for an inspiring outing for families to enjoy together.”

The event is made possible by support of the Santa Maria Public Library Foundation and the Santa Maria Fairpark.
