The city of Santa Maria invites residents and community members to attend a public meeting to provide feedback on proposed name changes to Cesar Chavez Drive.

The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 at Grogan Park, 1155 W. Rancho Verde.

The purpose of the meeting is to gather suggestions and comments from residents, property owners, and interested community members regarding potential name changes to Cesar Chavez Drive, the city said.

Community feedback will help inform the city’s decision-making process as staff evaluates options and next steps.

In addition, letters will be mailed to addresses directly affected along Cesar Chavez Drive to notify residents and property owners of the meeting and provide information regarding the proposed changes.

Direct questions to the Department of Public Works, Engineering Division, 805-925-0951 ext. 2225.
