After temporarily closing in November, Sandbar Cocina y Tequila at 514 State St. in Santa Barbara will be returning next month with a brand-new look.

The Mexican restaurant plans to reopen at 4 p.m. June 18 with an all-new menu inspired by Sonoran and Coastal Baja cuisine and cocktails meant to transport patrons to the Riviera Maya, according to Sandbar’s Instagram.

The restaurant has been redesigned by Van Rooy as a Yucatán-inspired coastal getaway.

Sandbar will start accepting reservations on June 4. Guests can book reservations by calling 805.252.5409 or emailing sbreservations@sandbar.net.
